Care Instructions

Hand Wash or Gentle Machine Wash

Hand wash silk items using a mild detergent or use a gentle machine wash setting with cold water. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals as they can damage the silk fibers.

Use a Delicate Detergent:

Choose a detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics or silk. Mild, pH-neutral detergents are ideal.

Avoid Hot Water:

Never use hot water when washing silk; stick to cold water to prevent damage and color fading.

Don't Soak for Long:

Limit soaking time to prevent the silk from becoming weakened. A short soak, followed by a gentle wash, is usually sufficient.

Hand Dry or Low Heat:

If using a dryer, select the lowest heat setting to prevent damage.

Iron with Low Heat:

If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting or the silk setting on your iron. Always iron on the reverse side or place a cloth between the iron and the silk to avoid direct contact.

Be Mindful of Jewelry and Accessories:

Remove jewelry and accessories that might snag or scratch the silk when wearing or washing.

Address Stains Promptly:

Treat stains immediately using a mild stain remover or by gently dabbing the stained area with a damp cloth.

Dry Cleaning:

For delicate or embellished silk items, consider professional dry cleaning to ensure proper care.

Store Carefully:

Store silk items in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging silk items in direct sunlight for extended periods, as this may cause fading.
